This is my first skin that I have created. I have created this for the Counter Strike: Global Offensive Weapon finish competition. My inspiration for the design was the Star Trek phaser, hence the name. Throughout the Star Trek franchise, the blast from the phaser has changed from blue to orange to red. This inspired my design to be created in various hues.
The background is a solid blue with a slight white streaks to recreate Star Wars' light speed travel.
I feel as though the design of the main laser beam compliments the form of the mp9.
I also added a green flow on the recessed parts, I feel this gives it a nostalgic feel of energy flowing within the blaster.
