Dark cavity maps using ZBrush Multi Map Exporter

Hi everyone, 

I'm generating Cavity Maps using the Multi Map Exporter in ZBrush, but the deepest crevices are showing up black. If I lower the Cavity Intensity, the black disappears, but the a lot of the details get lost. Is there a way to set the value and color of the darkest areas and prevent dark spots? (Black and gray for Cavity Maps and AO Maps always look "dirty" to me, and warmer tones tend to look more natural).

I realize that a lot of folks use xNormals to generate their maps, but can I get the same level of control in ZBrush?
