PC-CSGO|AK47 Alien Bullet

I think i posted this in the wrong thread before... this website is confusing 

I Started off drawing an alien bullet using convention drawing methods drawing inspiration from a beetle an acorn and some giger artwork. I also painted a giger inspired background.
 played around in photoshop with some shapes and patterns that i thought would be good for textures, using typical 80's colours..

• So this is what i started to play with the top texture was created by drawing squares in photo shop then applying blending option such as bevel and gradient overlay to create the desired star wars technology style pattern. 
  

  
  
• Then i created i nice round head for the alien bullet to penetrate 
  
  
  i decided to liquify the texture i made earlier to make it more majestic
  
  
  Then after a few hours of tweeking using the textures i created and adding extra detail to the alien bullet head shot, and the skin became this
  
  

  
  
• I found the colours a bit loud so i experimented with the background colours to see which color harmonies work best.
  
  
  
  i didnt like too much blue but after another few hours of tweeking i found a good balance
  
  
  Then a few hours and finishing touches later i had this
