Here is my submission for the Polycount CS:GO skin competition:

My inspiration for this design came from several places such as film, video games, and other designers. One of my personal favourite designers, James White (FC:Blood Dragon cover artist), has been a huge influence on my design. Games such as Hotline Miami and Far Cry: Blood Dragon have also helped.

As you can see, I really went all out with colours. 80's neon design is where I was aiming.

From feedback I have recieved on reddit, it's clear that my design could have been stronger by defining certain aspects of the weapon. This would make it much more clear that it's actually a weapon with a paint job, rather than a graphic that has been placed on top.
