Hi Guys, I'm currently working on a model and I ran into some normal map issues within Toolbag. The model was exported out of Maya and it looks fine within Substance Painter so I'm at a lost on what's going on in Toolbag. If anyone can point me in the right direction that'll be great! Thanks.
A few things to try: 1. Make sure Scale & Bias is enabled in the Normals settings 2. Make sure the normal map is loaded in linear space, click the options button next to your normal map and be sure that sRGB is disabled. If you accidentally loaded your normal map in the albedo or specular slot, it will have been flagged as an sRGB map 3. Try adjusting the tangent space settings in the object properties to match where you baked the normal map
If all that fails, please package up your TB2 scene, normal map, and mesh files, send them my way (PM me or email me at joe@marmoset.co) and I will check it out.
