! well.. for people who don´t know me I´m a csgo workshop designer who started in this hobby in 2014 , I wanted to say that I´m really excited to participate in this contest and I think this competition will give a plus of motivation and healthy competitive environment to the csgo workshop. Having said this , let me talk a little about my work :

Having said this , let me talk a little about my work :I created for this contest an ak47 , at the start I was designing this skin without "special" reference , just working in some general ideas , finally I decided to focus my design in various concepts that could fit well together . (Space invaders or pixel art videogames + retro neon + laser weapons )
My skin is in a more advanced phase but I will be posting my process (each day two new images) here where you can give feedback or fix ideas that could be added later to the final result .

v1 ( just placing the text , space background , degraded stripes , and laser base )
v2 ( correcting the position of the stripes and aplying some blending options in them )
v4 ( trying different ways to place the thunderbolts , slightly increased brightness )
V6 ( reduced and fixed the direction of the neon lights , starting to add details to the laser . )
v8 ( increasing some peaks , I decided to delete the beam of the middle so the text is clearly more visible , added a color filter to give more armony and I made a signature in form of star for the grip )
