Update on This skin, Currently looks crap from the normal player view so going to do some adjusting, I think a hue shift between the wood and main body to define the areas better should help.
The geometric noise also doesnt seem to read well at this angle, will try something else.

Interesting pattern for a hue shift. Will the wood stay the same shade or you will change that too?

I think I like the orange for the wood, so just shifting the colours of the rest of the gun
Went through tons and tons of colour schemes tonight, ended back up on orange for the wood as its nice and strong, with some greater breakup for the rest of the gun in a more muted green.
Killed off the noise on the main section as well, need to figure out what to put there.



I think it looks much stronger from the players perspective, just got to give it some love now.

Just gotta do something cooler with the black bits and then I think its done.

I'm liking the colour combo, though personally I feel like the "AK-47" on the dust cover is out of place.

Oh man, this is looking really nice. Awesome color choices. I really think you should try to see what this thing looks like in gunsmith. You've already seemed to have seperated the parts out well for the combination of patina + custom paint job.
