Does anyone know why 3D coat would be doing this or how to fix it. Seems like no matter what mode I try on the padding it is transparent in some parts (see photo)
Why does this matter, just delete the alpha channel or save to a format that doesn't support it if you don't want it, if your padding is set correctly the empty areas will never be visible on any mipmaps.
It matters because I am not using this for a 3D asset, I need the bleed to be solid. Thats why I am asking. Besides this seems incorrect anyhow, any bleed/padding I think should be solid.
Xnormal Dilation works really well and I think will work for what I am trying to do, Thank again Scruples. I am still curious why 3D coats padding is not coming out solid. If anyone happens to know how to fix this or if it can be fixed I would be interested in fixing it. For now I will use Xnormal as a work around.
