Please let me know what you think about it! Will try to fit the pants into the poly limit, but does that mean for the pants I need to have them together with the belt? Because in that case no way it will fit within 300 triangles. Can I have the actual belt part of the "armor" bit? None of the model is final, just seeing what works.
Here is the comparison of the one with robe vs pants. Unfortunatelly I only have enough polys to make the pants work without any other robe, unless the robe doesn't have any back polygons and is just a plane. No polys for the "fanny packs" as well

Edit: So I had a read through this https://support.steampowered.com/kb/9875-WEUP-5451/dota-2-workshop-item-effects-models and I believe this line basically says that my particle effects will not be working properly in the preview window? "A workshop item with an effects model will use the default ambient effect authored by Valve for that item and place the particles according to the position of the vertices." . Then question is to VALVE how am I supposed to take pictures of my character if I can't have my particles to work...
