Hello everybody !
and to the community, a big "Good luck" to
everyone, wishing you the best !Here are some questions I asked myself for the theme.
The 70's and 80's inspired me the "flashy" side with bright colors.
And the dancing years as the Disco, Funk and then everything related to catchy songs.
For Science Fiction, several things came to mind.
Movies, cartoons, but also comics. Examples: Terminator, Alien, Tron, Transformers, Power Rangers, Grendizer, Captain Flam, Captain Future, DC Comics, Marvel, Manga sci-fi, Saint Seiya, DBZ ....
Science fiction at the time it was all over pimples dashboards, color on EVERY computer screens etc ...
For my first creation, I chose the old style "Science fiction Manga".
For Examples = "Transformers" "Captain Flam" "Captain Future" "Saint Seiya" etc ...
My research was done on the internet for inspiration, my books, my family knowledge and imagination.
Here are some sketches originally proposed:

I Start the design with somes draws on paper.
Example :
After i scan my draw, and post that with Adobe Fireworks :
All elements are vectors (created with Mouse)
I open 3DCoat
and i put the design wf.png from Fireworks on the Photoshop CS5 with the method "Edit with program Ext"
I save and re-open 3DCOAT
After i click on Edit "Edit layers with program Ext"
i have my TGA
Renders : i open CINEMA 4D and i create the scene with the TGA
My first creation:
After, i open the file TGA and fix some problems with Adobe Fireworks. Some modifications was needed to got this final version (for me)
Here is the NEW Version on the weapon :
We can see on the drawing that the character hold a weapon in his hand.
When we look with the "FPS" view and clicking on the button
"presentation mod" we can see the gun (drawing) with 3D effect.
A red laser comes from this shoulder.

I prefer less detail and simplicity because it was too muddled.
What do you think ? Your opinion matters to me. Thank you !
