nice animations Nick! there's a frame skip around 0:53 with the tire flipping guy, I think it's a video output issue or frame rate change or something.
I've been hearing about all these cool animators on Polycount (mostly through creeping on Adam's twitter posts), SO I wanted to jump in and hang out too! I've been an animator for games for about 5 years now, and I'm currently at Hi-Rez Studios. I also recently started a podcast about animation/gamedev with 3 other lovely animators called "A Keyframe of Mind" (Haha.. get it? Get it?!!). Anywaaaay. to be honest i'm kinda bad at forums but, like a cartoon wolf floating by its nose on the scent of a pie cooling on an open window sill, i am lured back by the enticing aroma of the "Anime Action Challenge" hosted by _adamturnbull because it just sounds like a fantastic exercise.
anyway, i'm looking forward to trading and sharing knowledge with you. here's my current reel:

My name is Camille, for a short introduction, I'm a 3D animator currently working on VR games I used to work in the movie industry right after my graduation at the film school in France. Now, I'm currently located in Amsterdam. I started as a generalist, more or less lighting/texturing/modeling oriented. But after 2 years of looking for my path in 3D, I finally found a greatest interest with animation. And hop, I quickly got on track with gaming and hey, I love that, it's quite addictive, and also I love watching other's reels and your great work all of you !
I'm sharing my vimeo here, as I just started as an animator 1 year ago I don't have yet a reel but I hope to find good critics on this forum to improve my skills.. Cheers!

I am not animator, actually I do lots of things (generalist). Still I haven't decided which specialization I may invest, but I like to do stuffs as modelling, animation, drawing and a bit of texturing. I guess my favourites are animation and modelling.
Still I don't have a demo reel, but here is a little demo of my work:
Hi everyone! My names Jonathan Agueda, currently in Orlando, FL. I'm enrolled to The DAVE School located inside Universal Studios and have been doing this work since March 2017. Hello fellow animators! My name is Miguel Antunez. I am from Austin, Tx and tomorrow is my last day before graduating with an associates in 3d animation. I have been having a hard time trying to figure out what exactly it is that I have to do now that i'm going to be done with school. What I mean by that is that I would love some tips on how to go about landing my first job in this industry. If there are any veteran animators in here I would appreciate some words of wisdom. I would also love to hear some feedback on my demo reel which I will leave the link to.

Nice work, especially as you are just graduating.
Your first piece is your shot, I think. I think a general note is you can push your poses a lot more as well as the timing.
I know that sounds vague but it really is apparent in the 'pushing car' shot.
Hello everyone, I've been on Polycount for a while but I feel it's time I posted on this thread. My names Lee Meredith and I live in England, I recently graduated and am working on a few small projects but my ultimate goal is to find a full time in-house position as a junior animator.

Thanks for the feedback. Pushing my poses is something that I always hear about my animations, and I will be working on that from now on. Thanks again for the advice, it's nice to hear feedback from someone other than teachers. I have tried posting on the 11 second club forum for feedback, but no one ever seems to reply to anything.
Let me introduce you our animation and motion graphics studio Prism Design. We specialise

Hello everyone, My name is Thinh Ngo. I am an animator living in San Francisco. I was working as a 2D mobile animator the past 6 years doing various things. I then decided to change career path early this year to become a 3D animator. It has been a challenging but very satisfying journey so far. Please take a look at my current reel. I appreciate any feedback! Thank you!
Hello all. My name is Roy Suarez, I work a lot on Tv, and some character animation for games, nothing big, I love character animation for film specially if its monsters or strange in nature.
Hi everyone! My name is Amanda. I'm new to polycount. So happy to see there is an animation forum thats pretty active. I had a hard time finding on. Anyway I just graduated back in May with a bachelors degree and I am looking to improve my work and meet other animators.
My name is James Summers. I started my 3D journey at Full Sail University (2010-2011). During my time at Full Sail, I had the opportunity to learn different disciplines of 3D, such as, modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing and animation. I really wanted to learn more about animation, so I made the decision to join Animschool ( 2013-2014). During my time at Animschool, I gained a deeper understanding of animation, rigging and was introduced to game animation. After AnimSchool, with the knowledge I gained, I was able to put together my first demo reel .
I just stumbled upon this forum and I'm stoked to see all this great stuff. My name is Scott Stribling and I've been working in the games industry at Steel Wool Studios for the past four years. I've been wanting to get more into the community and this seems like a great place to be.
Here's my current demo reel:
I would link you my twitter but I've only written one tweet. But it was a good one... I'll think about it.
Hello everyone! My name is Bijay, im 20 years old (almost 21) from India. I recently joined polycount butnhave just started exploring this place now. I began my 3D journey a little more than a year ago, mostly concentrating on the technical part of the software, getting to knownit and all that. I've also done a little bit of modelling and rigging for fun. I decided to kick things off in 2018 by focussing mainly on animation, starting from the absolute basics, building up my fundamentals, so yes I'm probably the least experienced in this place. (Help me get better pls)
Anyway i hope to meet some people here and be helpful to them if i can and have a good time. Thanks
Hi all, My name is Brae thats me on the right im 25 and live down under here in New Zealand.
Im not your typical animator as i work with motion capture at a film level (animating at a invisible or should i say realistic level). Iv been working at Weta Digital going on 3 years now, working on films titles such as "War Of The Planet Of The Apes" as well as a selection of "Marvel" and "Dc" films.
It all began back at university studying full time and freelancing to small studios, jobs were small and few but ranged from animation prep to on set animation/motion-capture technician. What ever was going id put my name forward and take it even if the task seamed daunting, what i can offer from my experience was i wasn't the best but i showed up and worked 110% every time and that got the next job and opened bigger doors along.
Fell free to chat me and ill do my best to reply, keen to give back in the CG community that helped me to get were i am today.
Hello there! My name is Cristina Vaquero, but I prefer Cris. I am from Basque Country, in the north side of Spain and I am a 22 years old recently graduated animation student. I started using polycount not so long ago and I am still getting used to it, but I find it exciting to be part of such a huge and lovely community.
I am working on improving my animation skills and polishing my demoreel so I can find my place in the animation world outside college, so if there some tips or feedback you guys want to give, they will be more than welcome! Thank you very much and I hope you like it!
Long time lurker here. Wanted to get to know the awesome community of animators here a bit more so I'm putting my self out there. I also hangout in the animstate discord.
My names Nikita Taranduke and I am a senior animator at Blind Squirrel Games in the SoCal area. I dont have anywork from my current job as I am relatively new here (started in January), so instead heres some of my iAnimate work from last year:

Hi guys, nice to start to be a part of this community, and happy to meet you all. I'm Beniamino Valentini, not yet a professional animator but a "wanttobeone" I'm italian, 34 years old and fresh out from the second games workshop at iAnimate. I live in Germany since I moved here for working in Adidas as assitant 3D designer for two years and now looking for something more close to what I love to do (read: animation). Before Adidas I worked in Italy in a visualization and VR studio in Milan, and was responsible for rigs, models and animations. So you see, not quite a big experience in games dev, but want to fill this gap as soon as possible
I post here my animation reel:
If you want to connect through linkedin, faceboook or instagram please do it, I will always be happy to know more animators
https://vimeo.com/281732656 Hello! My name is Clay Hogan. Nice to meet all of you and great to be here! this is my first Animation Demo Reel. Thank you very much!
Hi everyone, my name is Mariel Rojas, I'm from Mexico, i really new in the industry for 9 months in an outsourcing studio in Monterrey , now I'm a freelancer modeler and i want to know more about 3d animation because is interesting for me, but i don't have any experiences yet in a work only in the school, my friends and i made a short for the school, and that is my only experiences in 3d animation, i made only a two blockings, in this moment studying for learning more
Hi all, long time lurker! My name's Daniel I'm part of the vancouver animator community! Glad to be part of polycount. Though I'm more of a TV and VFX animator I still love game animations and love this forum. Heres my reel~
Hi everyone, my name is Richard Derteano and I'm a multimedia student from Lithuania. I started learning about animation as a hobby around 3 years ago, but it completely entranced me, caught me in it's grip and still refuses to let go (not that I want it to). I had the privilege to try out 2d, 3d, vfx and motion graphics work and decided that I want to pursue animation as a career, specifically as a 3d game animator. While not much, this is my first demo reel:
Quick reminder in addition to the forum here at Polycount there's also a discord server where many animators, game and film and every other kind, congregate, http://www.animstate.com/community/
Hello everyone, I am looking to get into game animation. Currently I do not have a demo reel, I have however tried to make a couple animations. At the moment it is difficult to balance university and practicing animation so the progress has been going on and off for the past couple of months. Regardless, I always try to gain some knowledge by watching a video or reading an article. You can see some of the things I attempted to animate on my instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/ramadananimates/ Excited to learn more on this forum!
Hi, my name is Taylor Holmes, I'm a senior animator in the game industry, currently at Respawn Entertainment. I worked on Jedi: Fallen Order, and before that The Avengers Project, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I try to stay active on this forum because it's inspiring getting to see everybody's ideas and work, because critiquing is fun and a great way to keep my eye sharp when I'm not doing side projects, and because I want to give back to the community and encourage people to keep pushing. I've been in the position of trying to break into the industry and if I can make that a bit easier for somebody else, I absolutely want to. Feel free to reach out to me anytime if you have questions or want followup on some critique. Also, thanks to everybody who posts their work, and to those who take the time to critique. I enjoy learning from you all.
Hi! My name is Ana Laura Martinez, I am a Game Design and Graphics student graduating this year and I have decided to focus on 3D gameplay animation. I would love to get some feedback on my animations and learn from all of you! Hopefully one day I can be the one giving feedback to somebody. Anyway, I post updates of my work in Twitter, if you would like to see: https://twitter.com/AnaMtzz
So happy to be joining you guys and ready to learn as much as I can!

I'm Beniamino Valentini, not yet a professional animator but a "wanttobeone"
I'm italian, 34 years old and fresh out from the second games workshop at iAnimate.

Hello! My name is Clay Hogan. Nice to meet all of you and great to be here! this is my first Animation Demo Reel. Please let me know what I can do to improve on it and any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, I never learned how to make a title card for my demo reel, which is why it just jumps right in. please let me know how I can make one or what to use so that I can make my demo reel a little more appropriate. Thank you very much!
My name's Daniel I'm part of the vancouver animator community! Glad to be part of polycount.

I'm looking forward to being a part of this community ^^
I am looking to get into game animation. Currently I do not have a demo reel, I have however tried to make a couple animations. At the moment it is difficult to balance university and practicing animation so the progress has been going on and off for the past couple of months. Regardless, I always try to gain some knowledge by watching a video or reading an article.
You can see some of the things I attempted to animate on my instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/ramadananimates/
Excited to learn more on this forum!
I'm working on personnal projects when I'm not working or gaming, and I'll be asking to anyone around to give me feedback when they can. For the curious ones who pass the reading and just go straight to links, here is my current reel and my socials.

My name is Matthew, I was born and raised in Oregon.
I am an aspiring video games animator, currently enrolled at the Los Angeles Film School. I'm 23 years old, I have a newborn baby and a girlfriend! This is not only my passion but I want to continue to grow and make it a future career. Bare with me because I'm still learning, but I'm very interested in the community and everything it has to offer. That's just a little about me! Thanks for listening!

My goal right now is to get better in my artistry and is needing feedback on the work I'm doing so far. I hope this is the place where I can get that!
