Steampunk Train Crash

    This is a great start.

The scene is a bit hard to read, since the value ranges and color saturations are all similar between foreground and background. Some fog/smoke would go a long way towards pushing the train further back. Currently it looks like she is running directly underneath the archway.

Can you talk about your process a bit? This looks a lot like it was posed in 3d then painted over. Looks like some photo source as well.

I would love to see you push this further!

    My critique...

Designs for the costumes and train are...so so.

Needs more steampunk "ooompf" with the designs.  Right now it's just generic and bland looking.

The train could look more original than a stereotypical steam engine train.  Double the steam stacks for example.  Who's seen that before.

The characters could be carrying some steampunk tech.  Maybe show how they're connected with the derailment other than dodging the falling engine (could they be carrying the remote control that triggered the explosing, for example).  Or, show a villain on the train and he's devious plans are foiled by the running duo who are shown carrying something steampunkish that the villain wants.

    Goood luck!  Thanks for sharing.
