WW2 Characters and clothing

Hey everyone, I've been working on some WW2 era uniforms. Been using Marvelous Designer, Modo and Substance Painter for this. 

I'm fairly new to Character Art so I'd appreciate feedback / Critique

You should recheck your smoothing groups, theres a bunch of hard edge shadows/lines in places where there shouldn't be (like on the Stahl Helm there at the back in the last picture).

They pretty decent for someone just starting out but can I ask whey they are really low res?

On the greatcoat one, it looks like the green channel of your normal map is inverted.

Thanks guys It is for a personal game project and I've been trying to keep the polycount low. I think i've fixed some of the issues and started getting it into unity5. I'm not that experienced with modo rendering so that kind of looked dull.

not sure how important historical accuracy is to your project but: The guy in the parka looks wrong to me. I am assuming by the cap and boots that hes a german aswell and i can tell you are trying to have a Splittertarnmuster cammo but it just looks british to me. Idk maybe your reference picutre is one i have never seen but the parka looks more like a british paratrooper then a german army splittertarn. - i like the overall look though - my only comment would have been ur level of detail but if you are aiming for a fairly low poly the. it looks cool - but yeah i am no expert on clothing i am more an expert on german comma pattern if u compare the two ahah.

You're probably right I find camo patterns really hard to create. Thanks for the feedback!
