Hi folks out there,
i'm working on a Pulse Rifle from Warhammer 40.000 and have accured some problems with my bakes.
Somehow my bakes aren't that good but I don't know how I could improve their quality.
I started texturing them in Quixel and there some weird artifacts lie those:
Don't worry about the back part, it gets an other texture ;)

    If you exaggerate your bevels a bit on the HP often, you will get cleaner look on your bakes, And sometimes "support" edges around the area where it does not bake can help.  Would you mind showing us an HP so we could see how hard the edges are? Also on the reference pic nr 1. That circle thing is a screw but the second reference picture, it looks like a cylincrical charge up thing. Not a clue what to call it. I think the Bottom one looks better than a huge cylinder that does not do anything special =)
