Hey guys!
I just started over with 3D Arts again (while concentrating on software development the whole time). I love it and I just found Quixel for my pipeline!
Now I just created a LP mesh in 3ds max and sculpted it within Mudbox.
The next step I wanted to take is to import the high poly mesh into quixel but there a several issues.
While only importing the high poly mesh, quixel complains about the uv map which is not available.
I created a UV map for the Low Poly - then send it to mudbox - the UV Map is still there as I saw in the UV Tab of mudbox. But exporting the High Poly mesh from mudbox kinda leaves without the UV Map.
So I realized there is a way to import a .fbx file. Tried this - a lot of other issues appearing.
First warning message told me: "Assimp.AssimpException: Error importing file: FBX-Tokenize (offset 0x34) block offset is out of range"
What is this block offset? And what should I change to get it to work? Or do you have another way to get my High Poly into Quixel!
Thanks for you help!
Charlie

Just go to Window->Preferences and check on Export ASCII FBX
But the problem with those missing UV Map is still there
Let me know if I can do anything else for you!
I just figured out that I had to select the materials to be not "NULL" in Mudbox. That resulted in no UV Map being available and therefore nothing to export.
So I fixed it and used Quixel SUITE successfully and it is awesome! Thanks!
