Realized these kind of studies I'm doing belong in this forum, my apologies It has been quite a while since I've posted any personal work. I've been very very busy working on an amazing project that I will hopefully get to show soon.
Really exited getting back into figures! I really want to improve so if anyone has any feedback to give I would greatly appreciate it:)
These are great! Can you explain your process a bit? References, modeling software and techniques, how you're doing the hair, what you're using for lighting, what kind of touchups you're doing in post, etc.
Thanks! So I just use a base female mesh and start posing it into position in zbrush, make sure the pose is really solid and grounded and then start to detail in the anatomy one it's posed to get good practice on sculpting the anatomy again and again. For reference I just use a combo of good figure paintings and photos, I also have a new masters academy licence so I can look at posed photoscanned models. As far as the workflow I just export the Zbrush model directly into marmoset via the fbx exporter. For touch ups it's mainly about painting in occlusion that the render missed and also painting out any secular artifacts that make for a weird looking form.
