Sketchbook: Em.

I need a place to post all of the stuff I'm working on, so here we go!
I have 2 projects going on right now outside of work.
First up is this scene based off Petra in Jordan in UE4. I still have lighting work to do, plus some storytelling props I want to set-up(camp gear, a table with a map, etc.) and real tents.

And I just started this one a couple of nights ago, just a small fantasy scene.

Got a little more time on this. More blockouts, an initial sculpt on one side of the columns to mess with designs, and a bake on my columns that ended up with some errors I'll have to fix tomorrow night.

Stayed home today, so decided to dick around with this a bit more. Not sure how I feel about the whole arch focus any more, might switch it to a shrine or statue or possible push it further out into space with a floating stairway. I did get some work done on the columns and various adjustments on things and a quick paint on the arch(that I may or may not even use, oh well). Ignore the ugly temp curtain ties as I figure out how they're attached.

Moar work, but it's time to go to bed so I can wake up to do work work.

Moving along, decided to change directions a bit and go more evil. I've been listening to The Black Tapes podcast which deals a lot with dark supernatural type stuff. I have plans to make sort of an evil holy water font and table for the portal opening, and I want to do a writhing, bloody, rotten meat portal opening in the center of the arch. Who knows, could change directions again after this, but I feel a little better about it.

Stopping on the summoning scene for a bit to re-vamp a post-apocalyptic scene I did about a year ago. Testing out my modular pieces for these brownstones before I go in and sculpt various bits and make some new substances.
