Hi all! We are a group of five second year Games art students from The University of Hertfordshire and, over the past few months, have been creating a fully playable, open world game called Nexus.
The main character has scavenged and repaired a broken little robot who springs to life at the start of the game. The little robot is grateful but must find a way home and so, the two set off on their voyage.
In the game you will play as the scavenger character who, using their trusty hover bike, will traverse the vast desert landscape to aid the little robot's wish to return home. There are hidden artefacts, Keystones, within the desert which hold the power to unlock the path that leads to the robot's home. To retrieve these Keystones however, the player must solve a series of puzzles deep within ancient ruins scattered throughout the desert.
