As for my first competition skin I decided to go for PP-Bizon inspired by the post apocalyptic scifi comic books from given decades (70s-80s). 

I tried to be original - I saw everyone was going with neons, bright colors - So I decided to make something myself - something that would differ.

The following skin's name will be Retro Metro. I think it sounds good (and hey, it rhymes!:D) and also describes the skin pretty much perfectly because the skin is made in an old metro train theme.

Had to reupload few first pictures in the thread, thats the reason why few first photos are uploaded nearly at the same time. Otherwise its live WIP as you can see on next pictures.

The skin is subtle and I tried to "stay at ground" because the rarity has to be mil-spec (blue rarity).

Screenshots from my work progress will be added as I continue. The skin could be finished in one week and then I plan on making more color variations - and after that probably more skins for more guns.

first step was to make magazine (or atleast finish its main idea) - the motives are inspired from the metro route's plans

after finishing the magazine (on picture above it is not finished)i went to make the main part of the gun, its body. i started by doing these circles so that they not only looked retro but also looked like little holes inside of the gun (looked 3d) - i also added little lines as cabels because i found this a cool scifi motive.

at this time i have nearly finished this part of the gun, i made own texture (progress below) that i put on top of the gun and then i made a simple yellow+black pattern that improved the looks of the gun.

iron texture on the top of gun (very low resolution because i took screenshots while i was zoomed on 300%. sorry for that)

at this time i had progressed by finishing the main part of the body and starting the front side of the gun too. the front side is inspired by the old metro train wagon (will be better visible when finished) with the holes being as windows, the rusty part as rusty roof. the body has a symbol of city which i am including WIP below

at this time i had added a rusty texture (all the rusty and worn textures are made from a old scratched texture i made long time ago and do not have WIP for, sorry) also to the body and slightly changed the colors on magazine. I had also made progress on the front side of the gun: added a points (texture) that is similar to the one i saw in the comics used on the old trains. i also added a worn metro logo. including WIP of the logo below.

*6 changed few stuff, this is the current look of my skin. taking brake for today, gonna continue tomorrow.

the main body of the gun is almost done - added these holes into the gun that might look like old windows but its up to everyone to decide what they are. previously i had cabels going inside of them but i didnt like the effect that much. I also added atleast a small part of the city panorama because i think it looks kinda interesting. gonna go work on handle now.

this is the last version i will be having this week - i added the circle texture on more metal parts, did some simple design on handle and also did the back part of the gun - also in simplier finish. now i am leaving for dungeons and dragons for the weekend and i will be working on the skin again on monday.

Finally, the skin is finished! The skin will be posted on Wendesday and meanwhile I will be starting new skin - Don't know which one yet but I have few ideas

That skin came out pretty nice! Can't wait to see your next one . I really like the idea of the 3D-Holes on top of the gun!

Could you add a smiley face or some kinds of like words or sayings somewhere on the gun along with adding something to the stock. By adding a quote I mean etching bright lights big city or something similar near the outline of the city or maybe "hit by a train" or something on the stock for you do something like that I will think the gum will have the full apocalypse look. I am hoping you win and I could see this in game

that is actually good idea - i have had quite alot advices so i might make a second version of the skin based on that feedback, will also probably try to put something like that in the next variant (if i have enough time to make one) thank you

another idea is make the full gun the outline o the city make the clip the metro and then carve something unique on the city outline
