Very rough concept for the Desert Eagle "Void Hawk", intended as an entry for the CS:GO competition, drawing inspiration from Alien(s), Bladerunner and Space: 1999, the unremarkable colour scheme and overly utilitarian look should fit Mil-spec rarity well. Gunsmith will be the finish style.
Very rough concept for the Desert Eagle "Warpstalker", intended as another entry for the CS:GO competition, the antithesis of the "Void Hawk"; drawing inspiration from early John Blanche (Warhammer 40K), Metal Hurlant/Heavy Metal/White Dwarf magazines and 80s B-Movies involving murderous cyborgs, the grungy colour scheme and overly macabre appearance gives the "bad guy's gun" look, where the Void Hawk is the embattled good guy's. Gunsmith will be the finish style. Wanted to have the good and bad side to the weapon, reminiscent of the toys and action figures from the 80s. The Deagle™ Brand Desert Eagle Point Five-Oh is a personal favourite weapon in Counter-Strike.
After a bit of a delay, here is the latest in the Urban Legend collection, the AK-47 Contessa, based off the stories involving the Blood Countess, Elizabeth Bathory. The art is all original and specifically designed to fit the CS:GO AK-47 mesh, avoiding the repeated and overlapping UVs. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=723467240
A hydrographic finish showing the urban legend of the Rat King, a cluster of rats whose tails are fused together causing them to act as a single entity, a bad omen in folklore, a harbinger of pestilence and plague. Heavy use of the alpha effect and hydrographic colour blending, used to give an air-and-detail brush over traditional gilding effect. The original idea involved the rat's tails curling around the buttstock arm, but the hydrographic effect set the art to a solid colour, rendering the effect useless. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=762953958
A continuation of the Sci-Fighters collection that started with the Polycount CS:GO competition, this one leaning more to the late '90s cyberpunk anime style, the Securitech merges the aesthetic with the games overall artstyle, giving the impression of high-vis reflective panels and self-illuminating diodes due to borderline abuse of the gunsmith finish's specular exponent options. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=804299152
