[Maya'15] Joint Tool Bug

Hia,
So I went to use the joint tool in Maya 2015 today, and this is happening. Tried a system restart to no avail!
I have also tried to increase my joint size in the display options, it's currently at 2.0. This seems more like a bug though as after creating two joints I get three lines, and after several it just seems to exponentially multiply.
This is after using the tool to place one joint, two joints and five joints respectively.
Any ideas? Thanks!
