3ds max unselectable vertices and edges

Hello everyone,
I have this strange and annoying problem with 3ds max. I made a high poly model on Zbrush, I finished the retopology and then exported it to 3ds max as an obj. Everything was just fine, I had already unwrapped half of the things when the problems appeared. When I tried to continue with the unwrapping, I realized that i cannot click on some edges and therefore I can't make any seams. I can't click on some vertices even when I am not using the Unwrap modifier. I tried it with other objects, I tried exporting them again, I tried to save as the file with a new name but nothing seems to work. Restarting neither. Also when I move around the object with the cursor it disappears very easily, just one small move and i already can't see it and I have to press Z few times until I see it again. It's very annoying. I've had max crashing every 15 minutes but despite this the program seemed to work just fine. And now I can't do anything with this file. 
Your help would be appreciated.

    It's a long shot, but you could try unhiding the verts in Editable Poly - press 1 to enter Vertex mode, and then click the Unhide button on the control panel. :smile:

    Sometimes Max does wonky things like hide verts - I've been using it for 15 years, I'm just used to it by now.

    Could be a scale issue. ZB scale is a factor of 100 smaller than Max. Extremely large or tiny scenes can cause errors like this. Try merging to a fresh scene and immediately scale x100 and reset xform/collapse
