can't render out a square image out of Zbrush from a square (2k document)

Basically I need to do this -



But even though I've set my doc to 2048*2048 I still see elements outside of my plane and the same goes into Photoshop through zapplink.



Can't understand what I'm doing wrong.

Have you zoomed the canvas out? Zapplink-to-Photoshop is projecting from screen space so if your canvas isn't fully visible in the ZB UI (which 2k probably won't be unless you have a very high screen res) then it will also be clipped in PS.
If you click the actual button, or drag the zoom you'll reveal the entire canvas.
