Hey everyone, I'm Josh from Texas and I'm going to be posting progress shots and I would greatly appreciate any feedback on any of it! I've never really put my work out there to be critiqued or talked about and I feel like it's super important to join the conversation and get out of my own little lonely world lol. I guess I'll start this off with something I made fairly recently (but is still technically not done...just on the back burner lol). It's Kylo Ren's lightsaber! I modeled this from somewhat blurry distorted pics of the rubber prop on display from way before the movie came out so it's not perfectly accurate but it was fun to make. It's a high poly model but I want to texture it and bake it down into a game ready asset eventually.

Making a plant. This is the start of a leaf. Part of my Maya learning path. I've done most of my modeling in Blender thus far and I have always been meaning to become proficient in Maya. Now I'm absolutely dead set on it. So modeling this plant is the beginning of that journey.
