Weird Symmetry Hump, Clothing and Hair tips? {3DS Max}

I'm currently tweaking the base mesh but before I start adding clothes and the such I have one problem and a few concerns for when I start animating. I've posted both smooth and unsmoothed pictures down below under my questions for a visual of what I'm trying to resolve.

1. When I toss a symmetry on the base mesh there's this weird noticeable hump when I use turbo smooth, I've made doubly sure that all vertexes are perfectly lined up but as for how to get rid of it I wanted to see if anyone can shed light on this problem.

2. I plan on using Marvelous Designer for the clothing, but from previous experience with 3ds max cloth modifier it takes a lot of polys. I want to use Marvelous Designer but I'm concerned that when it simulates the cloth it won't transition well with animations, then again this is just speculation from the few videos I watched.

So When I do make clothing, how would I go about making it proper for animation? After making the clothing as a separate object should I try and build it into the base mesh or just link it to the body if that works?

3. If I do end up using the clothes as a separate object that's very close to the base mesh , would I make the values of the clothing the same if possible to the base mesh?

4. Also any tips for making slick back hair? I wanted to try and give my guy a similar hair cut like Adam Jensen.

5. Any critiques is welcomed.
