Substance Designer crashes before opening

Hello, I purchased Substance Designer 5 a while ago. I haven't gotten to use it much yet but I do remember it was working a couple months ago. I tried opening it up today however and it started opening and then said "Substance Designer has stopped working." 
I saw a thread on the Allegorithmic forums that had a lot of people reporting this error but I have not found a fix yet. Does anybody know any fixes?

No I haven't. I just did and installed it and it fixed it. Thanks. I don't know why the previous version stopped working though. I still kinda expect it to work. lol.

I think it was an issue with the Iray licence expiring after a certain date, so the prog worked up until that point.
