Bake AO with floaters?

What settings should I tweak to be able to bake AO with my floaters not casting a shadow on the mesh? Allegorithmic's AO docs don't say anything about this, nor could I find threads about this in their forum, and PC's wiki doesn't have anything about this either. Is it not possible?

You just need to disable the "ignore backface" setting in the AO backer parameters.

Ha, I was just about to upload some images saying that wasn't working, when I realized I actually had to enable Ignore Backfaces. If disabled (ignore backface says 'false'), the shadows are cast.

I guess you just meant the other way around. Anyway, once again thanks for the help Froyok :)

Edit: While I'm at it, what's the difference between disabling "Ignore Backface" in the Baker Parameters or in the General Attributes (third column, just above the OK button) when we are baking? Does doing the latter disable it for all bakes, while the former just disables it for the AO?
