Hello, I decided to share the Work I did on Heroes of the Storm (from old to more recent), here's a couple pieces: You can see a lot more renders and screenshots on my artstation and on my website.
I'm also sharing my brush Pack (zbrush) for free, this includes the Orb_cracks, but also a lot of other brushes I use everyday, I might make a video to explain how I use them, as some of the brushes might seem abstract.
Love it! Im so happy you made those breakdowns. As much inspirational works of art as any beauty shot. I also love that MatCap! Tried to recreate myself today. :P Course, not coming close to yours. Downloaded the brushes too! Thank you!
amazing stuff orb! just wanted to say your work is a huge inspiration for me. Love the sculpts. Clean, but also with the subtle details. Great balance. Thanks for the breakdown!
how did you create those 2 organic-tiling textures? (Any chance of a breakdown?)
I used simple tendons shapes alphas to lay down the main tile, then it's a lot of dam standart and dam standart reversed (alt) to pinch up the sides of the tendons and create tension/bevel, the second one used a lot of this tech as well, with more inflat. It's seriously almost exclusively dam standart and inflat
@Orb looks amazing, as always! I wonder how you made the stepping stones leading up to the throne. Did you make seperate parts and them ajmmed them together? I always wonder that, when I look at fanny's art as well, like these rocks:
how can one make such aa clean line between the rocks ?
Nop!, I used masks to extrude each step, then dynamesh, and then I I use "mallet fast_2" to create the layering effect, and planar to clean the cavities. Kinda hard to explain I know
PS: but separating all the subtool is also a very good thing to do most of the times! thats just not what I wanted for this pieces, I wanted a fell that everything was carved from the same piece.
Thanks for the brushes, the flat brush is so satisfying to use, I'll certainly add this to zstartup, thanks! For Egyptian architecture it felt like a missed opportunity, perhaps check Sir Banister Fletcher's A history of Architecture, Some juicy material there. I know this is stylized n all
Awesome work for sure. Heroes of the Storm is a dream project for me so it is really cool to see these breakdowns. Thank you for posting them as well as your brushes.
Great work! Found that mini-tutorial about turning meshes into alphas very useful. Also what is that so pleasing to the eye matcap, where can you get one?

I also added some cool renders for my deathwing bust and some pictures of the print Project, was a ton of fun
I also did some renders for my thorne challenge, I really liked this project, and I'm still crying for not having time to work on it

I'd kill to see a video of your process, I just love how clean your work is!
