I'm new to Substance Painter. So I have this model which has mirrored uv's.
I have this logo which I want to paint on my model so I'm using the stencil
but as soon as paint i'm getting symetry effect so can you turn this completely off?
Or is this happening because of my mirrored uv's? or my brush settings?

My stencil is just PS with tranparant BG. Thanks

If you have mirrored UVs, you will have a mirrored logo, there is no way around that. What you could do is add a small quad of floating geometry on the side you want you logo and have it as a separate element in your UV map, so that you can stencil your logo on it without having it applied on the other side.

Even if you don't have mirrored uvs and you use symmetry you will get this effect. Just think of a mirror in the real world. It makes sense.
