Hello!
I am currently working on a concept vehicle for my "Senior Portfolio" class at my university. Overall I've been able to fit pieces of my car together and get it to look somewhat the way I want it to. This is my original reference image. It is called the "Green GT" concept. Unfortunately there are no front or top orthographic images I could go off of, otherwise I would have.
Obviously I still have some work to do, mainly just little details. However I am currently stuck on what to do with the rear of the vehicle. I would like to keep the open concept that I have going now. I have placed a cylinder across the two back wheels to simulate a rear axle. As you can see there is not enough room for both the axle as well as the exhaust. Any suggestions as to what I should do here?
I really like the open design, but to keep it realistic I need some sort of axle in the rear.
And finally I need some sort of headlights in the front of the vehicle. I currently have a couple bars on either side to fill in the gaps, but I am unsure what headlight design I should go with. Any ideas?
Here is a 70 frame render of pretty much where my vehicle is currently at. Any critiques/suggestions even if they don't pertain to what I have written above are welcomed!

@ topic: presentation/renderings could need some more love. I´m not a car guy but it looks interesting so far. What´s the end goal here? Only a highpoly model or all the way to a realtime model?
I'm not too concerned with the quality of the renderings at the moment, they are mainly just to get a rough idea of how my vehicle is looking as I model it out. The end goal is just a high poly model to practice my modeling skills. I figured a car would be good considering it is a mixture of hard surface modeling and organic modeling.
