Solved: Suite ddo & 3do Super Slow (Memory Utilization always under 30 %, CCPU under 1%)

Hey guys, at work im having an issue where the suite is super almost ungodly slow especially for the hardware we are using. It take 1 minute to change anything , and i have to wait. especially in the mask editors. Anytime i try to move anything especially in 3d0 it almost freezes and windows goes white like its crashing and comes back few minutes later.

2 x Intel Xeon E5 2665 @ 2.4ghz
32 GB
Nvidia Quadro 5000
Windows 8 64bit

This is with a project  and 3do open

Are your project files located on a network? That's the only reason I could see it being slow.

no its local, but the program was installed on local C and data was on another drive. I moved the project data to local C am going to look what happens. Is the memory and cpu usage normal ? What does it look like when you run

What about admin rights ? im restricted on this pc and cannot even run as admin. Ever have that be an issue ?

Those stats look normal to me. Admin rights could be an issue - why is your machine so locked down? Government work?

yup . I just moved my data to my local c and everything works much better now. Must be an issue pulling data across the drives. I think they are raid drives so probably writing 4 times every action

Sounds about right to me - that kind of slowdown is abnormal. Good to see you're back up again.
