Hey guys, im trying to make a fat 17th century sikh warrior. im having a bit of difficulty finding references, especially with the clothes. Can any of you guys recommend a game character or a character from a movie or a comic anywhere that i can use as a guide for this guy? thanks in advance!

yeah ikr, trouble is, making a warrior with a head like that doesnt make sense. i was thinking about making a mage or a wizard type of character but i found out sikhs dont have that in their culture, so its kinda hard to look for more references.

There are very particular things that Sikh disciples have to carry as part of their faith. You've got the turban covering long hair and the iron band (they're specifically supposed to wear one on their dominant hand). The remaining ones which it'd be worth adding are a dagger and a hair comb.

You also should take a look at the style of weapons that Sikh warriors carried. I'd suggest you'll want something with a curve to it like a talwar rather than the western looking sword you have now.

thanks for the tip, im having second thoughts on alot of details since ive done a few research.
