Hello all,
This is my first finished 3d scene for real-time purposes. I used Maya to model the low-poly and high-poly meshes and did the bakes and textures in Substance Painter. This is my first Substance project and I am new to the PBR process altogether.

Comments and critiques are more than welcome.

Thanks,
M.

It's a decent start. While PBR is meant to, in a sense, standardize the textures due to the absolute values of some textures, the roughness maps are really where the arts in us can shine. Add in some more detail there, like where fingerprints would normally be on the phone, or where some scratches on the table might be, or maybe the cup of tea is still a bit wet? Push the information in the roughness and this will really start to pop. Your lighting is looking a bit flat at the moment too, maybe think about adding some color into your lights as well

    Hey NICKCOMEAU,

Thank you very much for your comment. The fingerprints on the phone is absolutely a great idea! Cheers!!
Fingerprints, light and tea in the cup. All noted, I'll update the scene as soon as I can :)

    Thanks again,
    M.

    Hi,

So I put some fingerprints on the phone and the cane as well. Also poured coffee into the cup and added some coffee stains.
    Still working on the lights.

    Thanks,
    M.
