So the idea behind this project is to design a rash guard for a judo association much like these (not done by me)
Being that I work in 3d I wanted to model and texture something that would go on clothing. The idea we agreed on was a american/japanese fusion samurai armor. I have modeled out a most of the armor.
Now I'm playing around with somethings being symmetrical and somethings not being symmetrical (let me know if thats silly). There will be shoulder plates on both sides but they will be mirrored over. All the rope pieces are share UVs. Once I'm done with the modeling I will take it into Quixel and texture it there. Then comes transferring it to clothing. I will model a rashguard in 3d around the armor with the UVs matching the cloth pattern. I will then light it and bake the render onto the rashguard. Probably in passes so I can further tweak it. So if you guys would be so kind as guide me along the way and critique anything that looks weak that would be awesome!

I have been able to make a bit more progress on this. For some reason the tarnish on the brass isnt working like I had planned in dDo. Also im playing around with different color variations. I would love suggestions to play with. Im still not quite pulling USA but im afraid of going too 'murica. Maybe the only difference would be a Coors logo stamped somewhere on it haha
