Maya to loads without crashing, but the dialog box for GoZ still appears causing maya to take forever to load. A zbrush admin said GoZ doens't work with 2016 apps. Any ideas of how to get rid of it? Preferably, without killing my preferences?

There's a preload for GoZ, usually looks like this:
eval("source \"C:/Users/Public/Pixologic/GoZApps/Maya/GoZScript.mel\"");
I think its in docs\Maya\usersetup.mel ? If not, then Maya\2016\scripts\usersetup.mel

delete the GoZ scripts in that public/ folder altogether? Then you'd just have a complaint that the script can't be found, but that's minor.

Minor, but not ideal. Maybe i'll just have to re-install maya at somepoint and copy my preferences while carefully omitting certain ones.
