using the latest release
I can paint a mask out and everything is fine, i accept the mask and it applies.
If i go back to edit the mask the 2d flat shows fine, but 3do just shows a full white mask. Then if i accept the mask my old one is overwritten with the full white.
Any help would be appreciated.

If I edit a mask and hit apply, there's a low-chance it fills the whole mask black or white, doesn't change the mask at all, or simply doesn't update in the 3DO viewer. Sometimes re-rendering DDO/3DO works to resolve this, and sometimes it doesn't, where I've had to close/restart 3DO to update the viewer.
This stuff all happens randomly and with different projects I create, so I can't really reproduce the errors on command.
Top image is my mask after doing 1 edit, all is good. Bottom image is what happens after i go back to edit the same mask, everything gets cleared out
