Hello , I was trying to make a root on a rock with autogrid on and splines in 3dsmax , but for some reason is not working , can someone tell me what I am doign wrong?
mm mok I looked into it but I found not how to make it actually .. .may be you can tell me how to ?
Basically I have a mesh rock and I want to make over a root vine entangling it , without wasting too much time manually moving vertices ... tried also ivy generator , but creates too many ivy and too much random , I wand just to create some entangling roots where I want and then somehow ( yet dunno how ^^ ) make an adapted plane mesh to this root stuff and render over it if is possible so to have a kind of texture of roots , ivy , lianas and other stuff I can apply ingame over the rocks .
