A friend recommended this place and I thought why not! You guys need an introduce yourself section
I've been working on a small 3D game a for a little while, just moved onto the environment. It's a first-person scifi puzzler that starts off inside a little city that i've been trying to build, fairly low poly because of time constraints.
I've found zooming right in and focusing on the tiny details to be my favourite approach. You end up zooming out afterwards and feeling pleasently surprised by the overall picture. I'll admit though, I am terrified of texturing. Things always look great with an AO pass, but then I try to add colour and wallah! the MS:paint pass
