Senior Animator
Sr. Animator
RockYou is looking for a creative and talented Animator to join its Games team. You will be creating interactive visual content to be enjoyed by active players worldwide. We’re looking for someone excited to jump in right away and put his/her digital arts skills to good use creating stunning animations for a well-known builder game on social and mobile media.
Responsibilities:
Closely follow style guide, templates, and reference animations to create animations that closely match the established style. Staying on-model is essential for this position.
Coordinate with junior artists to track and coordinate animation work. Review junior artist work for adherence to style guide and quality.
Learn the pipeline tools to prepare your work for game integration.
Collaborate with the art director and producers on a daily basis to ensure high-quality output in a quick turnaround time.
Requirements:
4+ years experience in Illustrator, Photoshop and Flash, specifically bipedal character animation.
Must have excellent 2D art skills with knowledge in both traditional and digital mediums and a portfolio which demonstrates these skills.
Excellent understanding of figure drawing, composition, color and layout design.
Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
Ability to accept and follow directions, collaborate with others, and work well under the pressure of tight deadlines
