Looking for some advices on my scene before calling it finished. Lighting rendering part mostely. Also posting a screen of the scene earlier to show the improvement.
I really like the spookiness for this. The puddles are a good touch too. Maybe my perspective can help? In general I think there should be one more light that lightens the entire scene. I have this happen to me all the time. It seems fine when I'm at home working all night in the dark with the monitor illuminating the scene, but when I look back at the screenshots in the daytime or on another website everything is too dark. I think you can add more light for brightness and use a camera effect for some contrast. Related to lights though, maybe have one of the physical lights off to add variety. There is also (what seems like) repeated graffiti. I can see the designs are different but they are spread out so much and look so similar it seems stamped. I suppose in general avoid repetition. The tiles themselves have a lot of repetition since they're so bold and not staggered, so breaking up the scene even more would help. What you have is excellent but needs to be shown off more with lights to really sell your hard intricate work ~
For the video it's the first time I do one of any of my work, so it's a test to see how it turns out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rf8UMY8fWeQ @XHI Thanks for the advices, I'm really not sure I'm gonna work anymore on this scene for the moment, I REALLY need a job, running out of money and I will spend the couple of next days trying to find one harder than ever, and if I don't find one, well, I'll be flippin burgers at mac donald x) Anyway I get your point and I agree with you, might try some lighting test when I have some time because the scene is too dark (I always struggle a lot with the lighting). Same goes for the repetition. Anyway thanks again for the advices
If you guys have other advices that I can use in my next works I'll take them
