by the way, I tested it on maya. I was surprised to see how robust it was. It allows to use booleans operations on complex and dirty meshes.
If I understand correctly, it uses voxels to remesh the new object.

It can be compared to both meshfusion and dynamesh.

I'm really glad to see there's finally a meshfusion-like system available for Max (seriously, AD, wtf is taking so long? ), and for free no less! But not so enthusiastic about what it does to your topology and mesh density...

I failed miserably at installing Max's HoudiniEngine plugin (despite reading the manual).. anybody have more luck?

Tried to install it with Maya. Can't figure it out. I feel like a failure.

Edit: Got it working, and it's really cool. Not the most intuitive or easy to set up, but it works well.

Hmm, so since Houdini indie is involved, I'm guessing it's not free for studio use with the plugin dependencies?

That's great thanks, but the problem I was having was getting it installed and showing inside maya T_T

wow yeah I just watched that promo trailer again and it does look like theres quite a bit of faffing about in menus. Still nice to see people trying new things in maya etc.

It's not so difficult to use but It needs a bit of scripting to be user friendly. I will try to do something later this week.
