Im late, im late, im late. I just saw this contest at the last second, lets see how much i can do in 12 days
This should be fun.
Concept is pretty simple, its basically a take on the wolf man ,Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and the beast from beauty and the beast.
One day a scientist falls in love with a beautiful woman, tragedy befalls the young lady in which she becomes deathly ill. The scientist unable to cope with this fact begins to make a potion to cure his love and make them young forever. in his last ditch effort to see if the potion works, he drinks the vial transforming him into the beast you see today.
!!!! for some reason all my links broke in photobucket here's a link to my website with all the pictures on it.

Update Time!!!
so for the last few hours i been retoping this monster(pun intended) sorry i'm very tired.
Now this is where the fun begins ,i get to go nuts and start really adding in the details but i'll probably wait til the morning to start working on that.
But for now I decide to really start focusing on the feeling and emotion the character going to portray.
For the pose i wanted to go pretty simple in a sense (This path i Walk vibe) but really tells you a lot about the character. someone who has completely given up hope.
And for the face i want to try and make a mix of sad and angry, since he is a man who is losing the woman he loves and is now being labeled as a beast in a effort to try and save her. Now he more accepting of his fate, and since everyone already views him as a monster he basically becoming that monster and this is that moment of resolution.
Idea list -For those who can't read my 4AM handwritting
* Having two different eyes
*Having a crumpled up newspaper that reads "The Beast of London"
My To-do List
*Making the locket that suppose to be around his neck.
Making the ground/pedestal for the character.
Learn how to make rain for final render.
current schedule-
4/2/16-wrinkles and skin(maybe cloth)
4/3/16-pedestal/ extra background items
4/4/16- begin texturing
Here the current progress just finish most if not all of the body details, blacked out the face since i haven't started on the detail for that just yet(that a whole day process by its self) so i just ignored it entirely. next im going to be working on the characters locket and redoing the cane i made earlier because now i want a fancy cane. should have an update on that before i go to sleep. 5 days down 9 to go.
special Thanks to Pablo Munoz G. over at Zbrushguides.com I used his new tutorial about double action brushes to help with the under layer of skin pores.
