We are looking for a very talented and experienced (Senior) UI/UX Artist

As a (Senior) UI/UX Artist
your mission rests upon monitoring and controlling the Product UI,
style, usability/accessibility design, as well as coordinating with the
Development team to ensure requirements are taken into account and a
user-friendly, streamlined, consistent user experience will be
delivered. Additional main function of this position is to continually
advance the visuals and the usability of the interface, while improving
the user's interactions with the underlying features and systems in a
practical, analytical, and objective way.
The (Senior) UI/UX Artist
will work with the Art Director documenting and defining the overall
Brand UI style – ensuring it will properly serve and convey the game
vision and Brand pillars.
Your tasks:
- Collaborate with internal and external art resources to create exceptional UI experiences;
- Create visually inspiring UI mockups for our products and layouts for online and offline purposes;
- Develop
elegant, best-practice user experiences for complex workflows,
visualize ideas using wireframes, mockups and flowcharts to keep ahead
of our competitors in terms of user experience;
- Evaluate UI/UX designs, prototypes, and completed features for consistency;
- Contribute
to the preparation of Editorial Debriefings and support the Art
Director & the Line Producer in the Milestones Debriefings and
Evaluations. Review and challenge all UI content developed by the
Development Team, seeking for improvements and identify possible
weaknesses;
- Conduct usability evaluations in collaboration with
the Gameslab Manager (data analysis, questionnaires, task analysis,
focus groups, etc.). Provide analyses of existing user interface designs
and common interactions with proposals for improvement;
- Conduct research on competition products and identify and promote the application of best ideas;
- Act with the consumer and the market in mind, and demonstrate a very good knowledge of the game industry and its evolution;
- Research, explore, and communicate best practices in his area.
You have:
- A Bachelor’s degree from
an accredited Art School, or equivalent experience;
- 5+ years overall working
experience in Graphic Design and UI, with 3+ years’ experience as UI/UX
Artist crafting Video Game interfaces.
- In-depth knowledge of
UI/UX design rules and prior experience in a position specialising in user
experience design, interaction design, usability engineering, ergonomics,
or other related specializations.
- A Strong understanding in
style guidelines, design process and creative workflow
- A wide range of
experience in wide areas of graphic design and game art, including
creation of backgrounds, icons, symbols, logos, fonts , user interface,
animation, creation of 3D objects, particle effects, etc.
- Knowledge and experience
with one of more 2D and 3D software packages, including 3DS Max, ZBrush,
Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS,
and Flash is from an advantage
You are:
- Able to works closely
with game design to ensure UI/UX enhances the player experience
- Able to explore a wide
variety of ideas, to follow and adapt to different stylistic guidelines
- Experienced in elaborate
final graphic art, with great understanding of composition, color,
shading, lighting, post-processing
- A person that takes
initiative to solve problems with excellent follow through
- A person that thrives in
a collaborative work culture
