Hey everyone, Im really stuck, going round in circles. I've abandoned my model until I can get the workflow down on a simple box but i cant get the seams right. So i have a low poly cube made in Maya, taken into Zbrush, subdivided and some basic sculpting just for testing, then exported a low poly and a high poly out from Zbrush. Ive opened the low poly from Zbrush up in Maya re-UV, been reading up here and moved the faces apart in the UVs. Ive tried a different combination of Normals smoothing in Maya before importing the high and low in Xnormals, but whether I smooth all the normals in Maya, or smooth them then choose the cube edges and harden them as Ive read to do, whatever i try, I always get dodgy uv seams.
can anyone help please me with my workflow?
