Responsibilities:
• Working from concept models and images turn them in fully functioning props – the work is both exteriors and interiors.
• Collaborate with designers, technical artists to achieve game design goals while at the same time creating an incredible work of art.
• As part of a team, maintain the high standards of modelling, texturing, PBR material creation and manufacturer design cues to provide consistent and high quality models.
• Work in collaboration with the Concept Artists and Art Directors to maintain visual style and quality.
• Keep your skills sharp and up-to-date, staying on top of technical trends in the industry
• Create amazing, photorealistic work.
Requirements:
• Hard surface modeling experience.
• Strong working knowledge of 3DS Max, (or Blender, Maya and Photoshop.
• An eye for detail while maintaining efficient modeling.
• Experience applying and tweaking shaders to achieve photorealistic results.
• A keen eye for beautiful design.
• Excellent sense of form, mass and volume.
• Passion for pushing the state of the art in asset fidelity and production techniques.
• High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
