I'm currently experimenting with trying to get my custom rig working with my mocap data. So far it's been an absolute failure. It seems it has to be easy but it isn't.
At this time I figured I go back and just try to bind a simple basic skeleton to my mocap data. I defined all the joints in HumanIK. This is all working fine. everything in the green. As soon as I bind the source to the character though, the legs cross and the whole skeleton is rotated 180 degrees, which makes the character walk backward instead of forward. I don't see any controls to fix this however.

What is going wrong here and how to do I fix it.
