I know that I'm not good enough yet to try and look for a job, but I did and I always get rejected (they don't message back) so I'm assuming that there's something wrong with my art, how could I improve ? What's missing ?

Your anatomy needs work, A lot of your joints curve unnaturally.
The pictures you give aren't the clearest, IE On your Wood elemental its so small on the first couple and not readable that those aren't even worth having.
Better to have less pictures, but clear and well made than have so many that show the same parts.(imo)

overall to me the art just feels rushed, like you wanted to finish things so badly you just didn't pay attention to details or forms you should have.
For example the wood elemental again, the face looks like you grabbed a base mesh and tried to make it female real fast, leaving half the jaw male and the other half attempting female.
Then with your armor character you didn't do much research on how armor works / Pauldrons not matching the rest or having a way of attaching just overall poor design imo. + So many anatomy issues with this piece. You've got armor on, but the wrists are thinner than wrists should be WITHOUT armor on.

@MR.MOOSE , so true, I'm having a hard time posing characters I agree the joints curve unnaturally, but I still can't use t-posed characters on portfolio, also I did rush them and used a male base mesh for the wood elemental, I will rework on the head , just noticed the low res images, about the armor character I was following a concept art and was trying to copy it gonna use real reference and remake it. Thanks man I appreciate every thing you said  its surprising how you found about all of that by just looking

Sometimes it takes someone else's eyes to spot what we can't.  Is that avatar a work of yours? Because that bust looks more interesting than the characters you present on your portfolio.
