[3dsMax] Gamma/Lut VrayBuffer vs. 3ds Max built in diffrence?

Hi, sry i need to bother again for a quick but annoying question.

I have read so many threads and solutions but couldnt fix mine.

Well i render with vray 3.2 and the vray frame buffer has a more saturated/contrasted image then my saved image to windows or the built in frame buffer from 3ds max.

Basicly 3ds max framebuffer shows the same image what i get if i save it out from vray framebuffer.
I can save it in jpeg tiff exr open it in photoshop or wherever and its always flatter and a bit less dark.

My Settings vry buffer on the left. I marked all to me important settings.

preferences

color mapping options

ofc i  would like to have the same image as in the vray when i save it out there.

Thanks

The srgb button is enabled in the vray FB so it's displaying the image as gamma corrected. But this is essentially a preview(see this by disabling it)
When you save your image click the radio button 'override' and set it to 1.0 This will save the image as you see it in the FB.

You can also do this in PS by doing a levels and setting the middle value to 2.2

hey thanks for the fast replay. I tried your advice with photoshop and its almost the same :). I had to adjust the brightnes and contrast 2, but after that its almost identical. I think i can live with that.

    thx for that!
