Hello everyone.
I have always been determined to work with graphic design, whether it be Photoshop or modeling. I am not American however. And nor am I from a country where the gaming industry is blossoming in any way.
When I had finished elementary school, I told my education supervisor that I wanted to work with 3D Graphics and modeling, and she told me to try out a specific school. This turned out to be a school for learning HTML, CSS, PHP and Javascript.
Here's the actual question:I am having a hard time knowing which areas I should improve myself in. I want to work with modeling, so improving my skills in that seems obvious. But should I improve myself in Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, Mudbox, Blender or one of the other countless softwares? I will do anything to become as good as it takes, but I need a guideline. The graphical world is huge, and there is much to learn.
But what qualifications do I need to be desirable for an employer?
CodingIf so, which languages should I learn?
PluginsShould I have an advanced knowledge of Mental ray, V-Ray or others?
Artistic SkillsShould I be adept at drawing or have an extended knowledge of anatomy?
This all seems like such a big mouthful, but I would love to hear some advice from you, who are more experienced.
Thank you for reading.
