Here are some shots of a unity environment I built from scratch. All assets were designed on paper, then modeled in maya, textured in Sai/photoshop. Finally, the assets were brought into Unity where the terrain, grass and FX were added. It runs comfortably around 50 fps with around 1000 draw calls on my system, definitely a lot of room for optimization, but a fun test none the less.
